As you probably already know, it's hard to find ways to get coaching clients, let alone become a coach with all the reservations. However, it's quite possible to get a paying customer if you're prepared to work hard, be smart, and have patience. A health coach could launch a travel blog post about how to maintain weight while traveling, while a personal finance consultant could post on the same website a post about how to save for a big trip. While the people who promote your coaching business as affiliates are likely to be the same people you can write content for your blog for, they'll be more motivated to promote your services when they know they'll receive compensation for sending you coaching clients.
You know that blogging will boost your coaching service, but what you might not know is that coaching will also boost your blogging efforts. It's so common for me to hear from coaches who have too many clients and want to redesign their businesses like coaches who don't have enough clients. I've noticed a decline in the number of new coaching students, for example, but the number of coaching clients I have has remained stable. I spoke to several successful coaches from various industries about what they did to get their first coaching clients.
