Measuring the Success of Coaching Sessions: 3 Factors to Consider

When it comes to gauging the success of coaching sessions, there are three primary elements to take into account. To begin with, it is essential to conduct a psychological assessment before and after the engagement. This can be done using the Harrison Paradox report, which reveals how an individual tends to act in both regular and stressful circumstances. Taking this evaluation 9 to 12 months after the start of the training program can provide insight into the changes that have occurred.

Secondly, a team evaluation tool should be employed before and, typically, 3 months after hiring the coach. This will help measure the effectiveness of the team's training. Finally, it is important to start evaluating the effectiveness of coaching from the beginning of a coaching relationship, rather than when it is about to end. A competent coach should be able to assist their client in achieving the goals and results established during the training process.
